200 years since the birth of Robert Schumann

The passing of time makes us lose touch with the purity of the great creators. On June 8th the world celebrates 200 years since the birth of one of music’s most wonderful children: Robert Schumann. Unfortunately, the lives of Mozart, Schubert, Schumann have barely overrun 100 years… Wolferl has lived 35 years. The delicate Schubert 34. Schumann’s uncommon sensibility has reached 46 years. When hearing their music one feels the juvenile breeze of giftedness.

It is said that only the children and the angels feel the nearness of divinity. Music’s great children have played bestowing grace and emotion to the voices within…

Celebrating 200 years since the birth of the one who composed Kinderszenen, our thought bends in gratitude. For those beautiful children of humanity: Schumann, Schubert, Mozart, redeem the poetry of the eternal soul in which, in our turn, we blossom ephemerally…
